At the doctor's

A patient with a headache and a fever sees the doctor.

1. A
   تَفَضَّلْ، مَا الْمُشْكِلَة؟

   tafaḍḍal, mā l-mushkila?بفرمایید، مشکل چیست؟befarmāyid, moškel čist?

   Come in. What's the problem?

   Levantine تْفَضَّل، شو المُشْكِلة؟ tfaḍḍal, shu l-mushkle?

2. B
   عِنْدِي صُدَاعٌ وَحَرَارَةٌ مُنْذُ يَوْمَيْن.

   ʿindī ṣudāʿun wa-ḥarāratun mundhu yawmayn.دو روز است که سردرد و تب دارم.do ruz ast ke sardard va tab dāram.

   I've had a headache and a fever for two days.

   Gulf عِنْدي صُداع وحَرارة مِن يومَين ʿindi ṣudāʿ w-ḥarāra min yomein

   هَلْ عِنْدَكَ سُعَالٌ أَيْضًا؟

   hal ʿindaka suʿālun ayḍan?سرفه هم دارید؟sorfe ham dārid?

   Do you have a cough too?

4. B
   نَعَمْ، قَلِيلًا، وَأَشْعُرُ بِالتَّعَب.

   naʿam, qalīlan, wa-ashʿuru bit-taʿab.بله، کمی. و احساس خستگی می‌کنم.bale, kami. va ehsās-e xastegi mikonam.

   Yes, a little, and I feel tired.

5. B
   هَلْ هَذَا خَطِيرٌ يَا دُكْتُور؟

   hal hādhā khaṭīrun yā duktūr?خطرناک است، آقای دکتر؟xatarnāk ast, āqā-ye doktor?

   Is it serious, doctor?

   Levantine في شي خَطير يا دَكْتور؟ fi shi khaṭīr yā doktor?

6. A
   لَا تَقْلَقْ، لَيْسَ شَيْئًا خَطِيرًا. إِنَّهُ زُكَامٌ فَقَط.

   lā taqlaq, laysa shayʾan khaṭīran. innahu zukāmun faqaṭ.نگران نباشید، چیز خطرناکی نیست. فقط سرماخوردگی است.negarān nabāšid, čiz-e xatarnāki nist. faqat sarmāxordegi ast.

   Don't worry, it's nothing serious. It's just a cold.

7. A
   هَذِهِ وَصْفَةُ الدَّوَاء. خُذْهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فِي الْيَوْم.

   hādhihi waṣfatu d-dawāʾ. khudhhu thalātha marrātin fī l-yawm.این نسخه را بگیرید. داروها را روزی سه مرتبه بخورید.in nosxe rā begirid. dāruhā rā ruzi se martabe boxorid.

   Here is the prescription. Take the medicine three times a day.

   شُكْرًا يَا دُكْتُور. إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَتَحَسَّنُ قَرِيبًا.

   shukran yā duktūr. in shāʾa llāhu ataḥassanu qarīban.ممنون آقای دکتر. ان‌شاءالله زود خوب می‌شوم.mamnun āqā-ye doktor. enšāʾallāh zud xub mišavam.
